The Breakfast Room Overlooking the top lawn, the West facing Breakfast Room has beautiful, original golden oak joinery including the door, the floor, the mantle piece, a plate rack and serving hatch. There are leaded light windows, the original brick fireplace and a bell push for summoning the maid! The walls and ceiling are simply white, in Arts & Crafts style, with floor length curtains around the wide bay window. This is a calm room, for leisurely, civilised breakfasts before contemplating the rest of the day.

The Guest Sitting Room The Guest Sitting Room is the main Reception Hall and through the original oak French Doors, opens on to the West facing Terrace. All the original golden oak joinery has been restored, with the grand old oak staircase, heavy ceiling beams and wood burning stove lending considerable character to the room. |
